GENERAL IDEA "TEST PATTERN: T.V DINNER PLATE", 1988 Ellsworth Kelly lithograph 15"H 8"W (framed) 15"H 8"W (framed) There is a fascinating contrast between his public work (women's shoes) and his private world inspiration (men's nude feet) One could add that this work is a nod or a critique of the concept of TV dinner The initial impetus to create "Test Pattern" came from the exhibition venue itself
